Ninth House custom courses can be built in a variety of different styles, each which will leverage a unique approach to instructional design, production technique and video usage. Each style will deliver a different user experience and achieve specific learning outcomes tied to your needs. Similar to our award-winning published courses, a custom course will typically center around one video which will comprise the core of the experience. Examples of this ‘core video element’ may include the following:

• A simulation which teaches through behavioral practice, using a ‘let me try’ approach, or
• A series of vignettes which provide behavior modeling demonstrating both common mistakes and best practices, or
• A video based case study featuring your organization’s best practices and real world experiences.

This core video element is then combined with flash-based exercises and activities to provide learners the opportunity to practice and apply what they’ve learned, along with other supporting elements such as a trailer or an executive launch video to provide a complete, engaging learning experience.
